Local Attractions and Facilities Prague Venice is a relatively large portion of the area known as a Lesser Town, Malá Strana. There in the middle ages due to construction activities of the czech kings around the canal, was build the part of the town, later called Prague Venice. There, in this years were invited most italian architects and artists. One street here is named after them – Vlašska. Prague Venice consists of a long arm, called Čertovka. This channel is going under the four small bridges and before its flowing into a large lagoon, below the Charles Bridge. There is also a small port with uniformed sailors, boat rides, are gorgeous – just like in Venice. The large lagoon is held every year music festival Prague Navalis.
Channel Čertovka is short Vltava artificial channel, which is located in Prague’s Mala Strana and separates the artificial island called Kampa from the rest of the Lesser.
