Although the holiday cottage is situated in a tranquil location, with spectacular views all round and an abundance of wildlife, if you can drag yourself away, Cotterdale is just a few minutes drive away from the market town of Hawes, there you will find everyday shopping, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and the famous Wensleydale Creamery.
Drive 25 miles west of Cotterdale and you will find yourself in the Lake District making Cotterdale a fantastic central location for exploring both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District.
