Local Attractions & Facilities
The Old School provide the ideal base for families, walkers, climbers, cyclists and other activities. We are within easy reach of Snowdon and its neighbouring mountains.
Networks of footpaths and bridleways around us have been reopened offering a unique link from Snowdon along the classic Nantlle Ridge Walk to the contrasting Lleyn Peninsular and Bardsey Island.
Nearby Lon Eifion, now part of the Sus-Trans cycle network, is a safe, quiet and attractive route for walks, runners, cyclists and wheelchair users. It follows the old railway line from Caernarfon to Bryncir with a link to Criccieth along quiet country lanes. Tremadog lies a few miles away, a busy centre for climbers all year round.
